First night ski of the season to Mathews shelter. Conditions, smooth base, couple of inches of fresh pow, ie perfect ! Full moon , didn’t even use headlights.

  2. Alan says:

Great skiing today (Tuesday 24th Nov) with 3-4 cm fresh snow on top of good smooth grooming. I skied from P5 – Kane and Hill’s Homestead – velvety snow and sunshine. But chilly breezes. With these low temperatures the conditions should remain good for many days.

Thanks to Mike and Jim for getting the trails opened up and all groomed these past few days! Skiers have been out enjoying this early season.

There has been some truck traffic over the freshly groomed trails from P3 heading north reported:( You may want to pick a different route until we get more snow to fix the vehicle damage done.

Enjoy the trails and happy skiing to all.

Please remember to get your memberships in, this is our sole source of grooming and operating dollars.

    Cheers,
    Kate.

    Good Sunny Morning 🙂
The sun is shining in Kane Valley and it is absolutely magnificent. All the trails have been groomed as of November 20th, there is about 10″ of snow. We welcome our members , invite new members and guests and wish you all splendid skiing in the Kane Valley, a jewel for sure.
A gentle reminder that we ask that you do not snow shoe on the groomed Nicola Nordic Ski trails. Much appreciated, thank-you.
    Shelley 🙂

Memberships are always welcome but if you plan only a few visits paying the day fee is fine.
Membership does not cover guests – they should also pay the day fee.

Hi there. I’m planning on getting back into skiing this winter in the Kane Valley. I have camped, quadded and photographed wildlife occasionally in the area over the years so know my way around a bit. I would like to contribute but not sure if day use or membership is best for me. I live in Langley so it’s about 2 1/2 hr each way trip so may only get up a few times per winter.
If I pay a membership does that allow me to bring a guest or would they still have to pay the day use fee?
Looking forward to some snow soon!
    Rick
