Groomers report: Kane to P5, Aspen to P6, up Sundown to Bertha’s Landing, Ravine to Jake’s Landing,Kane to Matthew’s Loops (east, west) the chute, Ravens Ridge, Gulch, VaLe …happy skiing

  2. Kate Anderson says:

We have received a ton of snow (approx 8 inches) in the past two days and the groomers are out today for a final (maybe?) groom. Skiing should be fantastic over the weekend! I am not sure of what they all groomed but follow the trails and enjoy it all!!!
Temperatures are supposed to stay below zero all weekend. Yippeeee!!!!
Come out and play (and avoid the crowds!)

  3. JH says:

Thank you E&L for breaking trail. I skied your loop the other way today. Menzies, Gulch and Ravens. There is a lot of wind debris melting into the tracks, a few puddles under trees yet enough soft snow that the ski was different levels of fine but skiable all the way. Temp was 7 degrees. If the snow hardens the skiing will not be so fine for a March ski.

  4. E&L says:

Fresh snow. Sunshine. What’s not to love? We stopped in for a quick ski on our way back to the coast. Started at P1 and followed skiers’ tracks up Raven’s Ridge to Gulch and then broke trail back along Menzies before sneaking in an extra loop on Matthew’s. Snow was a bit sticky: we climbed straight up every hill and then pointed our skis straight down. No herring bone or snowplowing required! A little glide wax would help, but lots of snow and lots of evidence of wildlife. Thanks for another great ski.

  5. Jessica Darter says:

great skiing in the forecast for today! -11 and 2 inches of fresh snow up at Kane!

    Great day to get outdoors!
